Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi (D)
Pick up at the Airport in Hanoi, then transfer to down town. Dinner and Overnight in Hanoi City.
Day 2: City tour of Hanoi (B, L, D)
In the morning is a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One Pillar pagoda and the Temple of Literature. The afternoon is a walking tour around 36-street Old Quarters (3 hrs). A water puppet show is featured for the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Cat Ba island (B, L, D)
We take the morning drive to Halong City (3 hours). In the afternoon is an four-hour cruise around Halong Bay, one of the must-see sight in Vietnam. We will with stops for visiting beautiful caves, kayaking and swimming. Overnight on board.
Day 4: Cat Ba island (B, L, D)
The morning is another cruise to Cat Ba island (1 hour). Here we visit Cat Ba national park for a 3, 5 hour trekking to Viet Hai Village. The afternoon is a cruise to Cat Dau Beach for swimming and sunbathing. Overnight in Cat Ba.
Day 5: Back to Hanoi (B, L, D)
Sail back to Halong City in the morning. The afternoon we continue our way to Hanoi on road trip. Upin arrival in Hanoi, we transfer right to the railway station to catch the night train to Lao Cai.
Day 6: Sapa (B, L, D)
We are picked up at the station for a bus ride up hill to Sapa (7.30 - 9.30). Sight-seeing en route. Upon arrival in Sapa town we will chec in hotel. The afternoon is featured by a trekking tour to H’mong minority village (3 hours). Ovenight in Sapa.
Day 7: Sunday hill tribe markets (B, L, D)
6: 00 in the morning we start departing to to Binh Lu market. Your chance to see Lao, Lu, Black H’mong minorities. Transfer to Tam Duong Dat Market. Another amazing Red H’mong, Tay, Dzay hill tribes. The afternoon is your free time for own exploration of Sapa Town. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 8: Sapa (B, L, D)
Morning is a trekking tour to remote villages of Dzay, H’mong, Dzao minorities (7hours). In the evening, we transfer you bank down to Lao Cai Railway Station to catch the train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Day 9: Arrive in Hanoi 4.30 am (D)
Arrival in Hanoi at 6.00 AM. After hotel check-in you have a free day to visit around Hanoi City which is full of history and to taste the varieties of local food. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Handicraft villages (B, L, D)
In the morning we will visit the Ceramic village (Bat Trang) and Wood- carving village (Dong Ky) In the afternoon, visit a hat making and birdcage-making village. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi - Hue (B, L, D)
Morning transfer to Hanoi Airport by bus to take the flight to Hue. After hotel check in, the afternoon is highlighted with a visit to Imperial Forbidden Purple City of Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 12: Boat trip (B, L, D)
A morning boat floating on Huong River to Thien Mu Pagoda and King Minh Mang's Tomb. The sight alongside Huong River is for tourists to enjoy a tranquil atmosphere, very old style and very typical for Hue. In the afternoon we will take a coach for 5 hour trip to Lang Co beach, Marble mountains and Cham Museum. We reach Hoian, an ancient town, just for our dinner and stay overnight.
Day 13: Walking tour of Hoi An (B, L, D)
In the morning, it is best to visit Hoian on foot. We will visit the Tan ky house covered bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the local market by Thu Bon River. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 14: Hoi An (B)
Today id free day in Hoian. It is easy to explore the town by yourselves, get some shopping of local goods and you can also get down to Cua Dai Beach at 3 km away. This is a nice natural beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 15: Hoi An - Da Nang (B, L, D)
Airport drop off in Danang to catch Ho Chi Minh City flight. After pick up and hotel check in in Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is free for your own exploration of the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 16: City tour of Ho Chi Minh city (B, L, D)
Visit to Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Former US Embassy, City Hall, War Crime Museum. Giac Lam Pagoda, China town, Thien Hau temple and Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 17: Tay Ninh - Cu Chi (B, L, D)
A transfer to Tay Ninh province to visit Cao Dai Temple and see the noon mass here. Visit Cu Chi tunnels on the way back to Ho Chi Minh City. Cuchi is an extraordinary tunnel network built by the Vietnamese during the Vietnam-American War. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 18: Cao Lanh (B, L, D)
In the morning, we take a drive to Cao Lanh, where we take a boat trip to visit Xeo Quit, a former military base (mangrove, cajuput jungles). In the afternoon, we continue to Sa Dec to visit bonsai gardens, a very famous thing in this land. A drive to Chau Doc via Thot Not stork sanctuary. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 19: Chau Doc (B, L, D)
A morning 2-hour boat trip to the floating houses, used as fish feeding raft. It is good fun to watch how people raise a large amount of fish in the Maekong Delta this way. Another visit to Cham Minority village and Pagoda. We also visit the Temple of Lady Chua Xu, very close the border with Cambodia. We have chance to see the scenery of Vietnam at the Cambodian border from the top of Sam Mountain (30’ walking up the summit). We head to Cantho for the night. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 20: Can Tho (B, L, D)
Morning Boat cruise along the Mekong River to enjoy the beautiful scenery here and to experience the daily life of local people. Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating fruit markets are on our way. In the afternoon, we head back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 21: Departure Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Airport drop off in Ho Chi Minh city for departure.
